Halsey Festival 2021: Largest for City of Newark
Halsey Festival 2021 was the largest festival with over 100 participating businesses and organizations, largest number of attendees and biggest footprint covering 5 blocks downtown Newark.
The festival hosted UniverSoul Circus, performances by Student Groups, local talented DJs and more. The festival provided fun free activities like games, crafts, art projects, henna art, face painting, photo booths and soo much more.
The festival was lead by Rutgers-Newark and Newark Alliance. Other sponsors included United Airlines, Prudential, Hanini Group and Newark Downtown District.
